Dr. Ashleigh Colon (pronounced cologne) joined the MCAH team in February 2026. Dr. Colon attended Onondaga Community College where she received an associate’s degree in math and science. She also attended Coastal Carolina University where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology, and finally Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she received her DVM accreditation.

After working at a pet store and a zoo, Dr. Colon decided she wanted to be a veterinarian. She originally wanted to explore the equine world, but ultimately fell in love with practicing with small animals. Ashleigh has been practicing since 2019 and has never looked back!

When she’s not working, Dr. Colon enjoys outdoor activities like camping and hiking, and loves to crotchet or sit with a good book. She also has two black lab mix dogs, Nova and Aurea, and she never misses their daily afternoon walks!
