Dr. Ava Swiniarski first joined the MCAH team in 2019 as a veterinary technician while pursuing her goal of becoming a veterinarian. After several years with the practice, she left in 2022 to attend veterinary school and is now excited to return to MCAH as a veterinarian, beginning this new chapter alongside the team and clients she knows so well.

Dr. Swiniarski earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before attending Massey University in New Zealand, where she lived for four years and received her Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) degree.

Her professional interests include Fear Free medicine, preventive care, clinical and surgical pathology, and surgery. Dr. Swiniarski is especially passionate about client education and believes in building collaborative relationships with pet owners, empowering them to make informed decisions about their pets’ health and well-being.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Swiniarski enjoys caring for her indoor plant collection, reading, exploring local rail trails, biking, and pursuing amateur photography.
